Sammy’s hamster Raffi is cleverer than any other of his kind. He’s great at scoring goals in football, he can also sniff smuggled goods better than a tracker dog and, what makes him even more precious, he was given to Sammy by his father, who left his family for a time and travelled to Afghanistan to work as a doctor for children in need.
But one day, Raffi gets seriously ill and before he can recover, he’s kidnapped by Rocky, a ruthless criminal. Sammy is determined to bring Raffi back home. Since his mother is busy working and his sister Molly prefers to spend time with her boyfriend, he ventures out in the big city of Hamburg, starting alone his search for Raffi. Can he save Raffi? And who is going to help him?
